How is my quiz score calculated?

Your score is based on the number of correct answers out of the total questions in the round. A passing score is 70% or higher. Faster completion times are used as a tiebreaker when ranking players on the weekly leaderboard.

Do I lose points for wrong answers?

No. There is no penalty for a wrong answer — you simply don't earn the point for that question. In Sudden Death mode, however, one wrong answer ends the round immediately.

Is my score saved if I play as a guest?

Guest scores are not saved to the leaderboard. Sign up or sign in to have your scores recorded, ranked, and counted toward your streaks and badges.

How are weekly leaderboard ranks determined?

Ranks are based on the most correct answers within the current week. If two players have the same number of correct answers, the player who finished faster ranks higher.

What are the difficulty levels?

The quiz offers several levels — Cadet, Analyst, Expert, and Elite — plus a relaxed Practice mode. Each higher level increases the question difficulty and narrows the time limit.

What is the difference between Standard and Sudden Death?

Standard mode gives you a set time limit to answer all questions. Sudden Death gives you a short timer per question and ends the round the moment you answer incorrectly — perfect for high-intensity play.

What is Practice mode?

Practice mode has no timer. You choose how many questions to answer (10, 20, 30, 50, or all), and explanations are shown immediately after each answer so you can learn as you go.

Which level should I start with?

New players should begin with Cadet to get comfortable, then move up as their accuracy improves. Practice mode is ideal for reviewing topics before tackling a timed level.

How do I build a daily streak?

Your daily streak increases every day you complete a quiz (or answer the Question of the Day). Play at least once each calendar day to keep the streak alive.

What happens if I miss a day?

If a full day passes without playing, your current streak resets to 0. Your longest streak is still remembered and displayed as your personal best.

Where can I see my streak?

Your current streak appears as a flame badge in the top navigation bar when you're signed in. You can also view streak details on the Question of the Day card on the home page.

Are streaks tied to badges?

Yes. Reaching streak milestones (such as a 7-day or 30-day streak) earns you achievement badges on the Community Badges page.
